Do Bugpaws™ stay on during walks?
Bugpaws™ are designed to stay securely attached during normal walks, play, and everyday outdoor use. Our flexible, medical-grade adhesive helps keep them in place while still allowing your dog to move naturally.
For best results, apply to clean, dry paws and press firmly before heading out 🐾
Will my dog notice Bugpaws™?
Most dogs barely notice them. Bugpaws™ are lightweight, flexible, and designed to let dogs walk naturally — without the bulky feeling of traditional dog boots.

Yes — Bugpaws™ can be used on hot pavement and rough summer surfaces to help protect your dog’s paws during everyday walks and runs.
The idea for Bugpaws™ actually started after our own dog experienced burned paw pads during the summer. We wanted something easier and more comfortable than bulky dog boots — protection dogs could actually walk and run naturally in 🐾
That said, dogs can overheat quickly, especially during summer walks in the city. Bugpaws™ help provide an extra layer of paw protection, but it’s always important to look out for your furry friend. Avoid peak heat when possible, stick to shaded routes, keep water nearby, and remember — if the pavement feels too hot for your hand, it’s probably too hot for your dog too.
Are Bugpaws™ easy to remove?
Yes — Bugpaws™ are designed for secure protection during walks and easy removal afterward.
Because they use a medical-grade adhesive, they may be difficult to peel off when dry. For the easiest removal, simply soak your dog's paws in warm, soapy water for a few minutes to loosen the adhesive, then gently peel them away.
For even quicker removal, our Antibacterial Cleansing Foam is specially formulated to help break down the adhesive while cleaning your dog's paws at the same time. 🐾
Are Bugpaws™ waterproof?
Bugpaws™ are designed for everyday walks and help protect your dog’s paws from hot pavement, sharp surfaces, chemicals, rough sidewalks, and messy city streets — without the bulky boots dogs hate.
They can handle small amounts of water during normal use, but they work best in dry conditions and are not designed for heavy rain or fully wet environments.
Bugpaws™ also work great in dry snow and help protect paws against salt and winter sidewalk irritation during colder walks 🐾
